A watch and jewellery retailer’s online store, running one catalogue of fifty-plus brands across three languages and the full range from high-street to luxury.
The client prefers not to be named, so this one goes by a codename and shows no screenshots. What it is: an e-commerce platform for watches and jewellery, carrying more than fifty international brands — the Tommy Hilfiger and Fossil end of the market through to Swiss-made — plus bracelets, necklaces, rings, and the strap-and-wallet accessories that go with them.
Two things make this harder than it sounds. The first is language: the shop runs in Macedonian, English and Albanian, which means every product, category and campaign exists three times and has to stay consistent across all of them. The second is range. A catalogue that spans an eighty-euro fashion watch and a Swiss automatic cannot present them the same way, and the filtering has to make sense to someone shopping either end.
The rest is retail fundamentals done properly: new arrivals, an outlet section, quick view, wishlists, a members’ club with its own pricing, a free-delivery threshold, and card payments across Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Diners.
